Monarch Management Group, Inc. is looking for a full-time Site Manager to oversee apartment properties in the Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

The individual will handle the day-to-day operations and organization of the apartment management office. Site Manager will supervise all on-site employees. They will ensure that the properties are clean and in good repair and that all units are leased. The Site Manager reports to the Assistant Regional and Regional Manager. Must adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws, and follow all Monarch Management Group, Inc. policies and procedures.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Affordable Housing and YARDI experience are preferred but not required. Experience in an office setting: record keeping, handling bank deposits, cash handling, and supervision is expected. Knowledge of apartment maintenance is helpful. Apartment management experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.

Certifications:

Training in HUD, Rural Development and/or Tax Credit.

Desired Skills:

  • The ideal candidate must have outstanding customer service skills, with ability to resolve vendor and customer situations promptly.
  • Effective communication skills with an outgoing personality.
  • Highly organized with the flexibility of handling many tasks.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Self-motivated to set and carry out goals individually and in a team.
  • Must have the ability to make decisions, plan for and meet deadlines, and follow the proper chain of command.

Major Duties:

  • Responsible for having apartments turned to show, and re-lease quickly.
  • Supervise on-site employees.
  • Adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws.
  • Prepare and process all leases and other appropriate documents.
  • Responsible for collection of rent and processing evictions as required.
  • Participate in all training and managers' meetings.
  • Facilitate leasing and renewals to maintain maximum occupancy.
  • Oversee the details of apartment inspections and turnovers, move-in/move-outs, and contracted work.
  • Ensure that residents are provided with a clean, safe, well-maintained community by inspecting the property daily.

Maintain required office hours. Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 per week
